What is a difference between GPIO-2000 and GPIO-2105?
The GPIO-2100 comes with a connector, with which to attach an external device for standard I/F (LVTTL). The GPIO-2105 package does not contain a connector. Thus, you will need Graphin's Option Board LVDS-IO32 (LVDS I/F) or CLINK-IO32 (LVDS Serial I/F) in order to connect it to an external device.
How many GPIO-2200/2205 boards can you install to one computer?
The software manual states a limit of 5 pieces. However, the number of pieces may be limited to transfer capability of the PCI Bus, physical space inside the computer, and number of the PCI Bus slots.
What is maximum size of data transfer capability?
There is no onboard memory in the GPIO-2200/2205. You need to allocate main memory from the PC for use. The Windows 2000 OS utilizes about 1.3 GB (2GB main memory), and with Windows XP it is about 700MB (1.5GB main memory). However, due to functionality and specification, each computer will have different capability to allocate.
What OS do you use?
We use Window 2000/XP.
Are accessories such as Device Drivers or Sample Applications included?
No, they are not included. You can purchase Win-version the Driver & Library GP22-Win as an option. Please purchase them together with the GPIO-2200/2205 for first time use only.
What are included in the Win-version Driver and Library GP22-Win?
They include Device Driver, controlled Library (DLL), and Sample Applications (VC++ Source code).
What are the minimum accessories required in order to use the product?
For LVTTL Input-output, you will need a GPIO-2200 board, Software GP22-Win and an attaching connector. As for LVDS, LVDS Serial or User Development Add-on Board, you will need a GPIO-2205 board, selectable Add-on Board, GP22-Win and an attaching connector. In addition, you can also order PC from a standard configuration to a BTO (Build-to-Order) directly from us.

Digital input/output board GPIO-4000 series

Is the GPIO-4500 alone sufficient to properly function?
The Super High Speed Input Output Base Board GPIO-4500 does not contain an external device attaching connector. Therefore, when inputting data, an SDCL Input Add-on Board SDCL-164? is required, and when outputting data, you will need an SDCL Output Add-on Board SDCL-064. In addition, an Add-on interface connector is now available, therefore, it is possible to conduct User Add-on development.
What signal level is required in order to connect to an external device?
The board is LVDS Serial. SDCL-164 is installed with LVDS Deserializer. The SDCL-O64 comes with LVDS Serializer. Therefore, an external device also needs to have similar interface design. We also provide recommended circuits/devices for User design, as well as additional important information.
How many GPIO-4500 boards can you install in one computer?
The software manual states a limit of 5 pieces. However, the number of pieces may be limited to transfer capability of the PCI Bus, physical space inside the computer, and number of the PCI Bus slots.
What is maximum size of data transfer capability?
The GPIO-4500 comes with 2GB of SDRAM (512MB x 4 pieces). The memory can be only accessed via our product Sample Application, therefore, there is no access from the OS.
What OS is used?
We use Window 2000/XP.
Are accessories such as Device Drivers or Sample Applications included?
No, they are not included. You can purchase Win-version the Driver & Library GP22-Win as an option. Please purchase them together with the GPIO-4500 for first time use only.

They include Device Driver, controlled Library (DLL), and Sample Applications (VC++ Source code).
What are the minimum accessories required in order to use the product?
When inputting data, the Super High Speed Input-Output board GPIO-4500, SDCL Input Add-on board SDCL-I64, Win-version Driver & Library GP4-win, and a connecting cable are required. When outputting data, the Super High Speed Input-Output board GPIO-4500, SDCL Input Add-on board SDCL-O64, Win-version Driver & Library GP4-win, and a connecting cable are required. In addition, as GPIO-4500 is a full size PCI (312mm depth), we can also provide an applicable PC from a standard configuration to a BTO (Build-to-Order).

Digital input/output board GPIO-5000 series

Is the GPIO-5000 alone sufficient to properly function?
No. The High Speed Input-Output board GPIO-5000 functions with SATA storage. Therefore, connection to the optional HDD set (GP5-HDD-xxx) is required.
What signal level is required in order to connect to an external device?
In parallel applications, FPDP (LVTTL) is used, and in serial applications, ROCKEIOx2ch (SerDes, 2.5Gbps x 2ch) is used. We provide sources for an original protocol that enable users to connect using RocketIO easily, and also provide recommended circuits/devices, as well as additional important information, including precaution.
How many GPIO-5000 boards can you install in one computer?
The software manual states a limit of 5 pieces. However, the number of pieces may be limited to transfer capability of the PCI Bus, physical space inside the computer, and number of the PCI Bus slots.
What is maximum size of data transfer capability?
It all depends on the balance of functionality of SATA storage and User application. For example, when connecting to an HDD set PG5-HDD-4TB (1TBHDD x 4sets), I/O becomes a large capacity mode (HDD entire domain in use), making available 3.7TB of data capacity and a transmission rate of 160MB/sec. In high-speed mode (HDD 25% domain in use), data capacity is 931GB and I/O transmission rate is 320MB/sec. User specification (transmission rate requirement vs. data capacity) determines the connection SATA storage and User domain (using frequency duty cycle to limit transmission rate).
What OS is used?
We use Window 2000/XP.
Are accessories such as Device Drivers or Sample Applications included?
No, they are not included. You can purchase Win-version the Driver & Library GP5-Win as an option. Please purchase them together with the GPIO-5000 for first time use only.
What are included in the Win-version Driver and Library GP5-Win?
They include Device Driver, controlled Library (DLL), and Sample Applications (VC++ Source code).
What are the minimum accessories required in order to use the product?
You need a High speed large capacity I/O board GPIO-5000, HDD set GP5-HDD-xxx, Win-version Driver & Library and a connecting cable. Also, we can provide a PC with 4 sets of GPIO-5000 HDD installed, to a BTO (Build-to-Order).
