IPM-8531PoCL-BE is a recently approved Camera Link compatible, Power over Camera Link (Power feeding Camera Link), Image Input Board. It captures image signals from a Power over Camera Link compatible area camera or line camera to PC main memory. IPM-8531PoCL-BE allows camera power to be supplied over a Camera Link cable, thus, requiring a smaller number of Camera Link cables, in turn meaning that it can be made smaller with less cost.
It is compatible with the new standard PCI-Express (x1), computer expansion card, and acquires images at 200MB/sec Max. It is also compatible with Max Clock rate of 85MHz, enabling users to connect to a large number of Camera Link compatible cameras.
In addition, IPM-8531 series software is compatible with the IPM-8530/40/60, and runs with 64 bit OS. Users can utilize more than the 4GB available onboard physical memory on the PC, as a DMA controller expands physical memory. (Note: Functioning memory as a Frame Buffer is limited to 2GB).
Furthermore, as a part of our environment-friendly policy, it is a RoHS compatible and CE certified product, removing any such concern for users.
